2024년 10월,
감성밴드 허밍러브 (Humming Love)가
오랜만의 공연과 앨범으로 기지개를 켭니다.

리더 사랑(Sarang H. Lee) 의 유학,
그리고
연이어 발발한 코로나 사태.

한껏 움츠러들었던 몸과 마음을 회복하고 나니
어느덧 마지막 공연 이후로 8년이 지나 있네요.

그 사이 각자에게 있었던 변화들을 나누며,
이제 다시
새로운 노래를 준비하고 있답니다.

삶을 노래로, 일상을 음악으로 담아내려 모인
따뜻한 친구들의 이야기 -

다양한 장르의 음악을 소재 삼아
삶, 사랑, 가족, 꿈, 기쁨과 분노,
애틋함과 아쉬움, 고통, 눈물, 위로와 휴식 등

우리네 일상의 크고 작은 이야기들을
부드러운 노랫말과 멜로디로
조곤조곤, 편안하게 풀어내 온 허밍러브는

멤버들간의 돈독한 관계와
탄탄한 음악성을 바탕으로
살아가는 모든 이들에 관한 이야기를 노래로 담아내며
진솔한 내용의 레퍼토리를 다져 왔습니다.

특히 2024년 가을 발표를 앞두고 준비중인
허밍러브의 3번째 앨범 ‘지각’ 에서는,

우리 사회에 일반화 되어버린 삶의 스탠다드에 자신을 맞추지 못한 채
느리게, 늦깎이로 살아가는 이들의
지각 (Lateness)과 각성, 그리고
우리 각자의 마음 속 깊은 곳에 숨어있던 무의식에 관한
어느 순간의 지각 (Awareness) 의 노래들을 함께 담아내며
좀 더 우리의 삶에 근접한 얘기들을 해 보려 합니다.

Finally, the Korean indie band ‘Humming Love’ is performing again!

There was a long rest for Humming Love members as Sarang H. Lee, the leader of this band, left for the Netherlands for her Masters and once she graduated, COVID-19 hit.

And now, 8 years have passed - time flies! So isn't it time to sing again?!

Jazzy pop band Humming Love consists of 5 members. Led by Sarang who is also the writer of their music. The Humming Love team are all such talented musicians, with no limit to the different music genres they take on. Giving Sarang the freedom to express our lives in various musical ways.

Their music is beyond one style or genre, their repertoire is extraordinarily varied.
They sing of life, love, family, dreams, happiness, anger, pain, tears and comfort with tender lyrics and sweet melodies.
This creates their own genre: “life.”

So why this music?
Because there are too many songs focused only on “love”. Beyond this real life exists, so again, an album is being created to capture this. And ultimately to comfort.

Humming Love have been friends for a long time, the members graduated from the same conservatory or worked in the same band. And the time spent together gifted them a deep trust and understanding of each other. The fundamental power of Humming Love - “friendship”.
